The Countdown begins...

Friends, it has been a long time since we posted here and we have reasons for it. We wanted to start the countdown with a bang. There is an old Indian adage that a lion takes a step back only to jump five forward. Thats what we have done here...

What's been keeping us busy?
We have been firing on all cylinders to make this Parivartan the biggest and the best. Event Conceptualisation is complete and if the initial on-campus feedback is anything to go by, prepare for a rocking Parivartan, people!

While we wouldnt spread all our cards on the table, let us try and give u a peek into what is on offing in Parivartan.

1. Arena -- The Apperentice: Based on the popular TV show, The Apperentice, Arena is the flagship event of Parivartan. A game that puts all your management skills under scanner for two long gruelling days, it sure is an event to watch out for!

2. Scintilla -- Welcome to the scintillating world of advertising! And who is doing it with us? DENTSU, the global giant in adversiting. We are glad to announce the advertising game of Parivartan, Scintilla. Be as creative as you ever could be, and woo our judges from Dentsu and DMS to win attractive prizes!

3. Quizzitron -- Who's doing it? Who's doing it? The buzz is finally over... Raise the curtains and join ur hands for Joy Bhattacharya, one of the most celebrated quizzers of the country. Be a part of the revelry as he unveils three hours of exhaustive quizzing in the Seminar Hall of IIT Delhi.

4. My Firm -- Wake up from the sleep, your dream beckons you! How long will you dream of establishing a firm, seeing your name as the CEO and all... Live it, for the two days of Parivartan. And if you think no one can give you the perfect experience, be ready to eat your words for breakfast, lunch and dinner... Ladies and Gentlemen, we have Dr. Vinod Damblekar of Mantis who has conducted several interesting Management games across various B-Schools and is touted as the Master of Strategy. He has designed this game exclusively for us.

If you feel Parivartan is all about games, aaha... time to eat your words again... we have many other interesting events lined up too...

5. Informals -- It is an age old myth that B-Schools cant organise fun events with elan during B-Fests. Come to Parivartan, Come to Change... You will realise that the myth is indeed age old and it is time to change, and who's the change agent? Radio Mirchi :)

6. To give a unique touch to the Business Fest experience, we have for you the masters of perfection, the teams renowned worldwide for their errorless service, The Mumbai Dabbawallas. Hear the President of the Mumbai Dabbawala Association, Mr. Raghunath D Medge, and the IT Head, Mr. Manish Tripathi, speak about the working of the Dabbawallas and the Management Learnings from their Business Model in the Seminar Hall of IIT Delhi.

Ladies and Gentlemen, join your hands together for Parivartan 2007 , the annual Business Festival of Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi organised by the Department of Management Studies.
